Aloisio Chiarelli Palmo was born in 1913 in Mottola, province of Taranto, son of Leonardo Aloisio and Pascua Chiarelli. He arrived in San Vito in 1954, together with his wife Maria Trulli, born in 1920, in Ginosa, province of Tarantano, they married in 1954, forming the Aloisio Trulli family. They were accompanied by their daughters Lina and Vita, both born in Italy. Their other children were born in San Vito: Giussepina and Olga. He was head of stone extraction in the quarries for the construction of the first roads, together with Francesco Altamura Ceciliano they created the first contract for the production of stones for the roads of the "Las Cruces" quarry.
