He was born in 1927 in Ravino, Province of Modena. Son of Silvestre Barbieri and Beatrice Piccinini. He arrived in San Vito in 1953. He was accompanied by his wife Maria Pina Frigieri Frigieri, born in Modena, whom he had recently married, forming the Barbieri Frigieri Family. All his children were born in San Vito: Giulio, Carla Beatrice Together with his family, he managed the SICA dining room, in the building known as the club. They had a grocery store, the Rino hotel, he was a coffee grower and rancher, in partnership with his father Silvestre.
