He arrived in San Vito in 1953. He was accompanied by his wife Beatrice Piccinini. In addition, his son Rino, born in Ravino, Modena, and his wife María Pina Frigieri Frigieri traveled. His other son, Aris, had already lived in Costa Rica since 1952, where he had worked as an accountant for the company CICAIL and then at SICA. He carried out activities such as: administrator of the SICA canteen, then together with his son Rino he set up a grocery store, hotel and was also a coffee farmer.
