He was born in 1927 in Ravenna, Province of Ravenna. Son of Sante Caroli and Elisa Bertini. He arrived in San Vito in 1953 with his wife Maria Soldati and his daughter Lucia. He was an employee of the SICA and a farmer. They were all repatriated in 1954.
