Convertino Calabrese Antonio

Convertino Calabrese Antonio. He was born on November 17, 1935, in Ginosa, Province of Taranto. Son of Bruno Convertino and Rossina Pignataro. He arrived in San Vito on March 18, 1955, together with his brother Nunzio. Originally they would travel with his sister Vitina and her family in December 1954. In San Vito he married Xenia Corrales Blanco, their children are Xenia, Leander and Catherina. In his first job as a carpenter and bricklayer, he was assistant to Ambrogio Morelli, in the construction of the first coffee mill in San Vito. In addition to dedicating himself to construction, he has also been a coffee farmer and cattle rancher. He has lived with his wife for more than 50 years in the same house. Until recently, it was common to see him leaving every day for his farm, located more than an hour away.
