Maggioni Loria Virgilio. Son of Serafino Maggioni and Virginia Loria. Born in 1912 in Turin, Province of Turin. First Catholic priest who accompanied the 9 pioneers in July 1952 to start the Colony of San Vito. They were (BRACONI Giovanni, CANALINI Vittorio, GERVASONI Attilio, LUPPI Guido, PAPILI Marino, SANSONETTI Giulio, SANTILLI Giovanni, SCIARPELLETTI Riccardo, SORESINA Francesco). He was the spiritual guide in the first days of the Colony and celebrated the Eucharist, in the first building under construction in the middle of the forest.
