SCIARPELLETTI GRECHI RICCARDO

Sciarpelletti Grechi Riccardo. He was born on February 11, 1924, in Poggio Moiano, Province of Riete. Son of Giuseppe Sciarpelletti and Giovanna Grechi. In the month of June 1952, together with 9 other pioneers, they started the Colonia de San Vito. They were: BRACONI Giovanni, CANALINI Vittorio, GERVASONI Attilio, LUPPI Guido, PAPILI Marino, SANSONETTI Giulio, SANTILLI Giovanni, SCIARPELLETTI Riccardo, SORESINA Francesco. They were accompanied by the Catholic priest Father Maggione Virgilio. His wife Antonietta Massimi, born in 1925 in the Province of Riete, arrived in San Vito in 1960 together with their only daughter Giovanna. He was a SICA driver until 1957, he participated as a truck driver in the construction of the San Vito Guilio Sansonetti airport, then he was a coffee farmer. His properties are still maintained in San Vito. His remains, along with those of his wife, rest in Italy
