Born in 1924 in Tricase, Province of Lecce. He arrived in San Vito in 1953 with his wife Cosima Mastria Neca and their son Antonio. Mario Paolo was born in San Vito on June 12, 1953, the first child of Italians to be born in the San Vito Colony. The entire family was repatriated in 1960.
